Answers to some common questions customers have asked.
How many people will be on the boat?
The only passengers are the ones you invite. Remember, this is a private charter. We can carry up to six passengers.
How far in advance should I book a cruise?
Since it is a private charter, giving us as much notice as possible helps us to arrange a time that works best for you. There are occasions when we may be able to accommodate a last minute request.
What about food and beverages?
We do not serve food or beverages. You are able to bring your own snacks and beverages. For safety reasons we cannot allow any glass containers or bottles on the boat. We also ask that passengers do not bring red wine on the boat as it can stain the vinyl and fiberglass on the boat.
Will there be shade on the boat?
Definitely. There is a hardtop and a large bimini that provides shade over most of the boat. There are times, especially on our sunset cruises that you will be in the sun as it moves toward the horizon. We do recommend sunglasses and sunscreen. Even in the shade the Florida sun can be very bright.
How should I dress?
Please wear comfortable supportive shoes that will allow you to get on and off and move about the boat comfortably. It can get cool after sunset so a sweater or light jacket might be in order. Being used to the Florida heat I am cold when it dips below 80 degrees. What can I say?
What happens if the weather is bad or it is raining?
Safety first. If the weather or water conditions are not favorable, we will not go out. It is the Captain’s decision. No matter how pretty the sunset may be, if conditions are poor we will stay in port and reschedule for another time.
What happens if I need to cancel?
We ask for a 50% deposit to reserve your date. Contact us prior to 24 hrs before your date and we can reschedule. Less than 24 hours notice will not allow us to return your deposit.
What else do I need to know?
We ask passengers that use sunscreen to use lotion instead of spray on. The over spray can leave floors slippery.
